Data gained via contact with us If you contact us via our website or by e-mail, your data will be saved for a period of six months for the purpose of processing your request as well as potential follow-up requests. We will not forward your data without your agreement. Data storage We would like to point out that for the purpose of facilitating the online shopping process and the subsequent processing of the contract, our webshop operator uses cookies to save the IP data of the internet subscriber as well as the name, company name, VAT-ID number, address, credit card number, phone number and e-mail address of the customer. In addition, we also save the following data for the purpose of processing the contract: name, address, e-mail address and phone number. The data that you provide are necessary for the performance of the contract and/or the implementation of the required steps prior to entering into a contract. Without these data, we cannot enter into a contract with you. We will not forward your data to third parties with the exception of your credit card data which will be forwarded to the following: the processing banks/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, the contracted shipping company/parcel delivery service for the purpose of delivering the goods and our tax consultant for the purpose of fulfilling our fiscal obligations. If you abort the online shopping process, the data we have saved up to that point will be deleted. If you enter into a contract with us, all the data resulting from this contract will be saved for the statutory retention period (7 years) in compliance with the applicable fiscal law. In addition, the following data will be saved for the duration of the product liability period (10 years): name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase. These data are processed in accordance with the statutory provisions of Article 96 (3) of the Telecommunications Act as well as Article 6 (1) lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the GDPR. Cookies Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your device via your web browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to provide you with the best user experience we can. Some of the cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to identify your browser during your next visit to our website. As we are utterly committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users’ data, all user data are pseudonymised. User data are retained for a period of 10 years. Newsletter You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To do so, you need to provide your e-mail address as well as your consent to receiving our newsletter. As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail containing a link via which you can confirm your registration. We will then promptly delete all data relevant for sending the newsletter.
