Black seed oil contains a number of bioactive substances, such as alpha-hederin and thymoquinone. Both substances significantly support the liver and immune system.
Support for lungs and bronchi
During the cold season, lungs and bronchi are particularly stressed by the cold and dry air from heating. Dry mucous membranes are a veritable amusement park for all kinds of germs that make us sick. Therefore, it's a good idea to support your lungs and bronchi in winter.
The combination of the mushroom “Ling Zhi” ( Ganoderma lucidum; also known as “Reishi” or “Youngzhi”) and black cumin oil (Nagella sativa) is particularly good for supporting the respiratory tract.
Black seed oil contains a number of bioactive substances such as alpha-hederin and thymoquinone. 1,2 Both substances significantly support the liver and the immune system. The oil is particularly helpful for allergic respiratory problems such as a runny nose or cough. It inhibits inflammatory factors such as prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain reactions, swelling, and secretions; allergic respiratory diseases are alleviated. At the same time, the killer cells and T cells of the immune system are stimulated, which in turn enables faster combatting of pathogens. 3,4 In addition to being taken directly in capsules, the oil is also an effective inhalant for the relief of respiratory problems. Because black seed oil protects the liver from radicals and thus from damage, it also supports the lungs. 5 The lungs and liver are closely linked through the antioxidant L-glutathione, which is essential for both organs.
Ling Zhi
Ling Zhi is an Asian medicinal mushroom that, due to its consistency, is not suitable for consumption. A whopping 400 active substances are found in the mushroom, all of a wide variety. Polysaccharides and triterpenes are considered particularly potent. 6 Ling Zhi modulates the immune system, meaning that it slows down when it is overactive and stimulates when it is underactive. This occurs primarily through the modulation of B and T lymphocytes and killer cells of the immune system. 7 Tissues that produce immune cells are also stimulated by the mushroom. 8 The mushroom is particularly effective against viral infections, which frequently affect the lungs and bronchi. 9
Both substances are available in the Nikolaus Nature range under the names “NN Ling Zhi capsules made from spore powder” and “NN black cumin oil capsules”!
