Let go of stress! Neurotransmitters are messenger substances that act as mediators between our nerve cells, allowing them to communicate quickly with each other.
Many people today suffer from constant stress without any chance of recovery. We all know that this isn't healthy. However, sometimes we don't have the time to relax long enough because we have obligations to fulfill. It's good to know a "secret weapon" that can help us through particularly difficult times. Fortunately, nature has blessed us with this. We would now like to introduce you to a particularly powerful combination.
GABA
GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is one of the most important inhibitory neurotransmitters in the brain. This means that GABA particularly helps the body relax. It is vital for falling asleep, so important is its role in the body. 1
Chemically speaking, GABA is a so-called non-proteinogenic amino acid. 1 Unlike proteinogenic amino acids, which form proteins in the body, non-proteinogenic amino acids do not. They have more hormone-like functions in the body.
It's therefore not surprising that GABA has a powerful calming effect. In low doses, it is used as a sedative. It can reduce anxiety and depressive moods. 2
tryptophan
Tryptophan is one of the proteinogenic amino acids. It is unique among this class of substances because it is very important in both the gut and the brain. Tryptophan is one of the building blocks of serotonin, our happiness hormone. 3
For this reason, supplementing with tryptophan is very helpful in stressful situations. It promotes calmness, improves sleep, and alleviates depressive moods. It also supports the gut, as it contains 90% of the body's serotonin. 4
P-5-P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate)
What initially sounds complicated is actually just a special form of vitamin B6. This is the form (there are several) of vitamin B6 that is used in the liver for detoxification in exactly the same way. This means that P-5-P makes it particularly easy for the body to use it immediately and quickly, since it doesn't have to be converted into the metabolically active form in the liver first .
P-5-P is an energy provider. It reduces tiredness and fatigue and supports the liver cycle, which in turn can reduce sleep disturbances. It is also very important for nerve health. 6
Since many people know particularly stressful times only too well, we have naturally thought of something for you: You will find all three substances in our preparation NN Neurotrans® capsules.
So say goodbye to stress today!
