Thrombophlebitis: inflammation of the veins

Thrombophlebitis is an inflammation of the superficial veins, often caused by a blood clot. The affected vein becomes red, hot, and painful, and swelling may occur. This inflammation can be both aesthetic and painful, and in severe cases, it can develop into deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which can be life-threatening.

Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI): When the veins weaken
