Horsehair is a valuable tool. Nutrient deficiencies, exposure to pollutants, such as lead pipes or copper, and other factors that affect well-being can be detected more quickly through hair analysis. A hair length of 3 to 5 centimeters is ideal for a hair test, as this can reflect the horse's condition over the past 3 to 5 months.
Important instructions:
- The hair can be cut off the pony or horse's tail.
- For equine hair analysis, a strand of hair approximately the thickness of a pencil, 3 to 5 centimeters long, is cut directly at the hairline. The hair root is not required.
