N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine – or NAC for short – is a bioactive form of the amino acid cysteine and a direct precursor to glutathione. This endogenous tripeptide is considered one of the most important antioxidants in our cells. NN N-Acetyl Complex combines NAC with other antioxidant micronutrients such as OPC, R-alpha lipoic acid, glutathione, and companion vitamins such as folic acid and chromium.

Glutathione is active in every cell—especially where oxidative stress occurs. Alpha-lipoic acid complements this effect and is valued for its ability to reach both fat- and water-soluble cell areas.
