Degradation processes of muscles, cartilage and joints as well as inflammatory processes can cause discomfort to pain and chronic diseases over the years. These are often only recognised if the animal has been suffering for some time.
COXAN Dog “Pre- and Aftercare” contains a combination of nutrients that can help keep your four-legged dog’s musculoskeletal system robust and mobile throughout life. The composition of the raw materials is agonistic, so that a high bioavailability is achieved.
- Bioactive collagen is involved in the development of many tissue structures in the body and can contribute to the normal functioning of muscles, joints, bones and cartilage.
- Chondroitin sulfate is a substance formed in the body that makes the cartilage more resistant. It can contribute to the renewal of cartilage tissue and counteract the breakdown of cartilage.
- B vitamins promote the metabolism in the body as well as the cell metabolism, ensure a good utilization of food and the conversion into cell energy and support the nervous system
- Omega-3 fatty acids (vegan) can contribute to a healthy metabolism in the body and to the development and protection of cells. They can be supportive in inflammatory processes.
- Tocotrienol-tocopherol (from d-alpha-tocopherol) is attributed to have an antioxidant and cell-protectingeffect. It has a factor of 50-60 compared to conventional vitamin E. In addition, it can be helpful in inflammatory processes of the joints.
- Esterized vitamin C has a neutral pH value compared to conventional vitamin C and is therefore gentle on the gastric mucosa. It can promote the development of connective tissue, bones and cartilage and is considered an antioxidant that contributes to cell protection.
